Green Istria guesthouse

The Houses of Slovenian Istria are perched on a green hill with great views of the sea and the Alps. Surrounded by vineyards, the three tiny houses are dedicated to Šavrinke, our grandmothers, and great-grandmothers who sold their produce in Trieste and other big cities nearby. Today, the tiny houses can transport you back through time, allowing you to feel life as it was in the previous century and relax in unspoiled nature. You can also rent rooms and apartments with the half board here. We believe in cooperation and are happy to work with local tourism service providers and advise you where to go and what to do for a perfect vacation in Istria. You are welcome to explore our garden to learn about Mediterranean herbs or pick fresh seasonal fruit.

GREEN EXPERIENCE: ISTRIAN BREAKFAST FOR A GREAT DAY

In the Guesthouse Green Istria, you will enjoy an authentic Istrian breakfast, consisting only of local farm products. You can choose between a traditional breakfast and a vegetarian one. Try the Istrian salami, pancetta, cow cheese, cottage cheese, dried fruits, herbal tea, honey, homemade jam, bread with extra virgin olive oil, and other local delicacies. The price of the breakfast also covers five local experiences: organic wine tasting, extra virgin olive oil tasting, a visit to an organic dried fruits farm, a visit to an herbal garden, and a visit to the Koper bell tower.
