Guided tour of the Božidar Jakac Art Museum and tasting in the Cviček Cellar

The Božidar Jakac Gallery is located in the former Cistercian monastery and is one of the largest Slovenian galleries in terms of exhibition space, exhibited material and art collection.

After a tour of the permanent collections from the temporary exhibitions, you will continue your experience in the beautiful ambience of the Cviček Cellar, where you will feel the pulse of the life of a Dolenjska man connected to the land, learn about cultivation and winemaking through time, and taste the wines of the winemakers united in the Konzorcij cviček cooperative.

A guided tasting (10 persons or more) with a local winemaker in the Cviček cellar of the Božidar Jakac Gallery lasts approximately 60 minutes. The tasting includes a tasting of three wine samples and local savory cake cop na lop. The price including the ticket to the Božidar Jakac Gallery is 13,5€/person. The guided tasting is only available as a package with a ticket to the Božidar Jakac Gallery.
The experience is available all year round, from Tuesday to Sunday from 10.00 to 18.00.
