Logarska dolina – Solčavsko
Logarska dolina – Solčavsko is a harmony of three Alpine valleys and at the same time a consonance of exceptional nature and carefully thought-out tourism. As much as 80% of its surface is a protected nature area. There you will find high-altitude self-sufficient farms that tell stories of the ingenuity of the Solčavsko people and from which the sound of the zither, an important part of the Solčavsko tradition, resounds.
Here, sustainability is a centuries’ old tradition. Harmony between man and nature has shaped a landscape that allows you to feel its authenticity, archaic charm, and nostalgia for times past. Stop by the Center for the sustainable development Rinka, learn about the indigenous Jezersko Solčava sheep and wool products, or admire the tradition of handicrafts at the traditional Bicka Sheep Wool Festival.
Explore the Solčava panoramic road full of views or Logar Valley Trail, admire waterfalls Rinka and Palenk, and then enjoy a well-deserved rest in the valley. At tourist farms, where they grow most of their own food and process it into delicious products, try local delicacies such as sirnek, gruševi žlikrofi, zgornjesavinjski želodec, and dairy and bakery products. It doesn’t get any fresher than that!
