When the city streets shine with thousands of lights, gentle music fills the air, festive scents flood the city center, and Fairytale Land comes alive with the Cookie Workshop, the North Pole, outdoor concerts, and street performances creating an unforgettable atmosphere, it means Advent has arrived, and Fairytale Celje is in full swing.

Advent in Celje is marked by authenticity, boutique charm, originality, and sustainability. Globally recognizable elements of the Christmas season are enriched in Celje with authentic experiences—unique and boutique events primarily performed by local artists, both professional and amateur creators; genuine connections with local identity; and a shared festive city experience between visitors and the local community. The highlight of Fairytale Celje is Fairytale Land itself—a fully authentic, one-of-a-kind experience that has belonged exclusively to Celje for 25 years.

The lighting of the festive decorations starts on the first Advent Sunday (November 30th) and will continue until the last day of the year, culminating in an open-air New Year’s Eve celebration. Visit the Fairytale Land at Glavni Trg from December 20th to 31st and travel to Celje with a special fairytale train.
